"Hello there, welcome to another GRTV News, after a little bit of a break I'm back, well we're back I guess as everyone's enjoyed a nice Easter break but as always we're covering the latest and greatest in gaming, gear, tech, entertainment, whatever you like, whatever you love, we've always got it here for you at GRTV News and in the wider Gamereactor Network so if you like gaming reviews, movie reviews, gaming previews, exclusive content and so much more, as always be sure to check out Gamereactor wherever you get it from but without further ado, today's news piece is a doozy, it is the game, probably besides GTA 6 that everyone is wanting, it's Hollow Knight Silksong, I mean I guess I'm not really as enthusiastic as everyone else but I don't want to catch any flack so let's not talk about that anymore, basically it's got an Xbox store page, it's had a, and you can now wishlist it, which is probably the biggest update we've had in a very long time on Hollow Knight Silksong, it was originally meant to release last year, the year before that, it was part of that now infamous Xbox presentation where they said every single game you see today will be out within 12 months time and then about half of them were delayed out of that window, in any case, yeah that was in 2022 was way back when we saw it and we got a promise that it would be out within 12 months time, it didn't meet that date but could we see a release date announcement soon? I think at this point people wouldn't want to see a trailer with another coming soon, I think it's gone on too long now since the game was first announced, people would want at least a window, whether that's holiday 2025, you know 2024's holiday period, early 2025, summer this year, unlikely but possible considering the planned release as I say was in sort of 2023 time, yeah there's not much more on the Xbox store page, this is more of a sort of news story I think that can be summed up very quickly with Hollow Knight Silksong has a store page, what does that mean? No one really knows, it's not an April Fool's Day joke, although it was added yesterday, very late on yesterday but we have been informed that it's not an April Fool's Day joke so don't worry about that, we're not just sort of getting your hopes up for the sake of it here but there were a lot of those yesterday and some of them were good, some of them were just the classic case of gaming companies telling you they know what you want but also telling you that you're never going to get it because that's a joke, it's a funny April Fool's Day joke. In any case Hollow Knight Silksong is probably as I say one of the most anticipated games right now that isn't named Grand Theft Auto 6, it definitely has a smaller fanbase than something like GTA for example but it's fanbase is very very enthusiastic about this game, basically so long as you get more Hollow Knight you're probably going to be pretty happy with Hollow Knight Silksong as the case is going to be and yeah I can't really speak much on Hollow Knight myself, I've not played it but yeah I think this is going to hopefully lead to an announcement soon, I would say something maybe around summer time, not as a release window but as when we could see the announcement, we could see it sooner, I don't see the release date itself being very soon, I don't think you're going to get a shadow drop I think.
